Start with a cleanser
Cleaning your skin at the end of the day to remove makeup, oils, pollutants, and bacteria you’ve accumulated is important. You may want to avoid using hard rubs, harsh cleansers, or natural soaps to prevent skin breakout and irritation. Use hypoallergenic or low pH cleanser if you’re prone to flaky dry skin.
It’s best to use a cleanser at the end of the day to avoid washing out your face’s natural oils. You may wash your face, but don’t use harsh cleansers, lest you want to over-strip your skin.
Apply toners wisely

Pat, don’t rub it!
Serums protect your skin from the harsh environs that affect it. If you plan on dabbing serums, facial vitamins, and other anti-aging products, make sure you dab or pat them on the skin and not rub them harshly on the face.

If you’re planning to go out the day, always apply moisturizers to seal your facial skin’s healthy oils. Likewise, if you sleep at night, your body tends to lose a liter of water in the body and often leaves a drier skin the next day. To prevent this from happening, apply moisturizers as well!
